Papaya Oil

Packed with enzymes and antioxidants, papaya helps to gently exfoliate the skin, revealing a brighter and smoother texture. It also aids in reducing the appearance of dark spots and blemishes.

Extracted from the tropical papaya fruit, this oil is rich in enzymes such as papain, which gently exfoliates the skin, removing dead cells and promoting a smoother complexion. Papaya oil is also packed with vitamins A and C, which help to brighten the skin and reduce the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation.

Our Story: From Pharmacist to Formulator

In 2018, I wrote my Master of Pharmacy dissertation on the chemicals found in everyday cosmetics and how they can affect the body. What I learned changed my own routine for good: I swapped my skincare for natural alternatives and started making my own.

While working as a pharmacist, I spent years formulating balms, oils and cleansers in my kitchen and sharing them with friends and family. Their skin loved them, and they kept asking for more.

In 2024, Nature’s Gift was born. Every product is formulated with a pharmacist’s knowledge, made by hand in small batches, and created for people who want a simpler, more natural approach to skincare.

Is tallow good for sensitive skin?

Tallow is naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E and K, and its fats are similar to those in our own skin, so many people with dry or sensitive skin find it gentle and comforting. Our Tallow Glow Whipped Cream and Fragrance-Free Tallow Soap are made with minimal ingredients for this reason. As a pharmacist, I always recommend a patch test first: apply a little to your inner arm and wait 24 hours.

How should I store my products, and how long do they keep?

Store them in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Tallow creams soften in warm weather and firm up again when cool, which is completely normal. Use within 6 months of opening.

How long does a jar last?

A little goes a long way. Used once or twice a day, a 50g jar of our whipped tallow cream or cleansing balm usually lasts around 2 months, and a 30ml bottle of Brightening Papaya Drops around 2 months, at 3–4 drops per use.

Who makes your products?

Every product is formulated by me, a qualified pharmacist, and handmade in small batches in the UK. They’re cruelty-free and free from parabens, and sulphates.
